Last week was mine and my boyfriends anniversary we weren't going to get each other much as we're saving at the minute as we are hoping to move again in the next couple of months!
I thought a nice idea would be to make a scrap book including pictures of us when we were small, our families, how we met back in 2006 and adventures/trips we've had. I brought the Scrapbook in Papercase I got one with black pages and wrote in white pen in the book, but they come in so many colours and designs you should find one to cater for all!
What you will need:
- a book/scrapbook
-Scissors
-Photographs/ photo paper
-Sticky tabs
-Card
-Pens
-Sellotape
Step 1: I began by choosing Photographs that I wanted to include, I then categorized them and made out a contents page on the first page of the book. I used white pen to show up on the black paper.
Step 2: I next made headings for ever chapter page (a title for each group of photographs, a section which would be under the contents page). Doing this I choose the theme of scrabble letters and designed each heading around this! I cut and measured squares of card rounding off the edges and drawing on the letters. I also googled the letters to find out the score value for each letter.
Step 3: I then applied sticky taps to each letter and stuck it down
Step 4: When the title page for the section of photographs was completed. I cut the photographs to how I wanted them to look. Cutting some into shapes, others to the persons shape, or landscape.
Step 5: I laid out the photographs on the page to see how they fitted together before sticking them to prevent any mistakes. I next stuck them down.
Step 6: I then continued this process, decorating and adding in writing as I was going.
Have you ever made a scrapbook as a present?
