Guest Post: Top Ten Current Make-Up Loves

Hey Everyone,
I am now doing guest posts on my blog once a month and when the lovely Ellen from A little bit Unique said she would like to do a post I was delighted!

Ellen's post was supposed to be up on my blog for the end of February but unfortunately I got ill and couldn't get to the computer, but its here now and i'm so happy that she could do a guest post...and here it is
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello everyone! I should introduce myself, I'm Ellen and I've popped over from A little bit Unique. I was absolutely delighted when Hannah got back to me about doing a guest post; I absolutely love her blog and have been following for a really long time so it's an honor!

Anyway, I thought I'd do my top ten current make-up loves!

At the minute, I seem to be stuck in a rut with my base products. I've always been a Max Factor foundation girl and at the minute I'm loving the Face Finity 3 in 1 foundation. It's a medium to full coverage, but doesn't look cakey or heavy on the skin. It blends in nicely. I dab it a bit of the collection lasting perfecting concealer just under my eyes and then on my chin or if I have a blemish and it covers them nicely. Once I've finished my complete make up look, I dust some Rimmel stay matte powder on my face, just to keep my make up in place and stop me from looking too shiny.
I'm a massive real technique brush fan, they are so affordable and apply make up really effortlessly. This month I've been loving the Stippling brush and the Buffing brush from the core collection. I find the stippling brush is perfect for liquid and creamy foundations. I dab the foundation on different sections in my face and then use the stippling brush to blend it and really work it into the skin. I use the buffing brush to apply my powder all around my face, using circular motions to blend it in.

I've been obsessed with Urban Decay eye-shadows for years. They are always really pigmented and long lasting, so it's no surprise that I can't put my Naked palette down. I love doing a neutral smokey eye and this is perfect for it. Before I put on eye shadow, I always put on an eye primer first. The Urban Decay Primer Potion is amazing, it's a creamy neutral base that is perfect for making your eye make-up last all day and stay in place. Max Factor's false lash effect mascara, is my all time favourite mascara and I can't recommend it enough. It makes your lashes look really full, dark and long. The Max Factor kohl eye liner has proven to be a really long lasting eye liner, that isn't too thick on the eyes.
My favourite lipstick formula at the minute is the Max Factor Colour Elixir; it provides a matte finish, but is really moisturizing on the lips, so it doesn't leave a dry or crackled effect. It provides a really pigmented colour and smells amazing. I love ruby Tuesday, which is a really fresh, bright red.

So, I hope you enjoyed that! Is there anything you really love or hate?
